Life itself is a boon to humanity
Our duty is to maintain its prosperity.
We explore its enigma every now and then
Like I’m doing the same with my pen.

The meaning of life differs amongst us
According to our respective purpose.
Some can discover for what they are made
And some invariably scratch their head.

We prefer our life towards sophistication
And tend to be busy in its decoration.
We integrate us with so-called ‘modernism’
And deliberately cheer for the pessimism.

Just once fall in love with your life
Trust me dude, you will get rid of your strife,
Your ups and downs have no emphasis
Look back on your wisdom, an absolute bliss.

Don’t judge this poem to be too life-oriented
As my life is just at seventeen yet.
Lets flourish through the river of existence
I know, for some it may not make sense.
